2015 Avida Dealer of the Year

Avida recognises outstanding achievements within its dealer network every year at the Annual Dealer of the Year awards night. This year the Avida dealer event was held in the Barossa Valley, with the awards night held at Yalumba Estate. A host of guests from the RV industry joined our dealers from Australia and New Zealand for a great night of entertainment, dinner and the Avida dealer awards.

All Avida dealers compete strongly each year for the honour and prestige of the coveted Dealer of the Year award, and this year was always going to be an extra special night with Avida also celebrating 50 years of manufacturing in Australia.

Avida are pleased to announce Avida Gold Coast as the 2015 Avida Caravan Dealer of the Year and also the 2015 Avida Motorhome Dealer of the Year.

The Dealer of the Year awards are awarded to the dealer that demonstrates high achievements in various areas of the business for sales, customer satisfaction, sales training and of course their overall representation of the Avida brand.

Billy Falconer, Dealer Development, Sales & Marketing Manager of Avida congratulated Chris Pippen and the entire team at Avida Gold Coast for not only taking out the top two prestigious awards for Avida Dealer of the Year but also for the Show of the Year Award, Caravan Sales Dealer of the Year award and the Motorhome Sales Dealer of the Year award.

“What a fantastic and well deserved result for the entire team at Avida Gold Coast, these awards reinforce their commitment to the Avida brand” said Mr Falconer.

Chris Pippen, in accepting the award from Managing Director and founder Bruce Binns, acknowledged Avida for their 50^th anniversary and thanked the Binns family and Avida staff for all their support in assisting them to grow into a successful Avida dealership in just their 3^rd year of business.

“A huge thank you to all our customers and staff who helped us achieve these awards, the prestigious Dealer of the Year awards were a fantastic achievement for our business as they recognise the effort from all our staff” said Mr Pippen.

Avida Gold Coast began operations in June 2012 and is part of the Hinterland Group of companies. Tony Stark, the Managing Director began the group with Hinterland Toyota back in the late 90’s. Avida Gold Coast sell Avida Motorhomes and Avida Caravans, offer a large range of parts and accessories, have a fully serviced workshop for all service and repairs and they also offer finance and insurance.

A number of other awards were also presented at the annual Avida dealer awards night, recognising individual dealer performances in various areas of the business. The awards for this year were:

• Parts and Accessories Dealer of the Year – Avida Townsville
• Avida RV Club Distinguished Service Award – Avida Melbourne
• Dealer Staff Member of the Year – Simon Tanner, Avida Perth
• Dealer Staff Member of the Year – Jodie Beatie, Avida Newcastle
• Show of the Year – Avida Gold Coast, Avida Bundaberg & Avida Townsville
