The Sydney RV Group will cease to represent Avida and Winnebago Motorhomes, effective September 30, 2013 from both their Narrabeen and Penrith dealerships after a number of years together retailing Avida and Winnebago Motorhomes.
It is disappointing that such a long tern relationship is ending but Avida and the Sydney RV Group have recognised that both companies have ideas for the future which are not mutually compatible and after ongoing and amiable discussion; both companies decided that the most favourable outcome was for each of the companies to move in their own direction.
The relationship between the Sydney RV Group and Avida terminates at midnight on Monday September 30, 2013 from which time the Sydney RV Group will be no longer an authorised Avida dealership for motorhome or caravan sales, warranty or service and therefore cannot order further new vehicles to meet new customer demands.
Avida is very conscious of the ongoing support role customers demand whether for servicing or repair and there are two excellent Avida dealerships relatively close to Sydney to cater for local Sydney customers terms of sales, servicing and after sales activity, Avida Newcastle located at Bennett’s Green near Newcastle or Avida Shoalhaven at Bomaderry near Nowra and the Avida factory service centre will cater for local aftersales demand.
Avida has developed the largest motorhome and caravan accredited service network of any in Australia and Avida is there to support their customers by offering a service centre finder system on the www.avidarv.com.au website which allows customers to enter their present location and discover the nearest service centre to them.
Sydney RV customers who may have concerns about their ongoing factory warranty coverage need not fear as Avida dealers anywhere can resolve any warranty issues that may arise under Avida’s best in market 2 year or one million kilometre warranty, whichever comes first and a five year structural guarantee as all Avida dealers are obliged to look after Avida customers, it is not just the task of the selling dealership.
