The Avida Diversion luxury campervan is built on the impressive Mercedes Sprinter Auto LWB chassis, with a 7-speed auto and standard with grey metallic paint and 17” alloy wheels. It is 7-metres in length with all the mod cons, unrivalled to make your trip all that more special.
From the electric entry step and keyless start, integrated 2,000VA inverter, lithium battery and solar, the technology doesn’t stop when you close the electric sliding side door and tinted rear barn door windows. The Sprinter has advanced connectivity, including MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) – the integrated multimedia unit.
With smartphone integration, the system offers Bluetooth® connectivity for audio streaming and hands-free communication, meaning you’ll never miss a call while you’re driving.
The MBUX 10.25-inch Multimedia Touch Screen System, multifunction steering wheel and Hey Mercedes voice-activated technology (available with navigation system) gives you centralised control.
Safety features are numerous on the Sprinter, which you would expect from Mercedes, such as reversing camera and 360 degrees camera, assisting you to reverse into tight picturesque locations. Active brake assist, lane keeping assist, active distance assist, blind spot assist, crosswind assist which helps you drive safely in strong gusts of wind. Driver and passenger airbags are all standard.
You can relax in ultra-comfort and enjoy a delicious home cooked meal from the well-equipped kitchen. The cooktop is gas with two burners and the microwave is located above the compressor fridge, allowing you to put your feet up and heat up a meal that you have purchased from the adventures of the day if you so desire. The compressor fridge is a large 150 litres with fridge/freezer, first of its kind for our campervans, and has ample space to store all your food and beverage needs. Plenty of storage space for your pantry things, in the pull-out drawers, slide-out pantry, cupboards and overhead cupboards.
Outdoor living is a breeze under the electric awning with lighting. At the touch of a switch, electronically lower the awning to relax under and stay protected from the harsh beating sun. Plug in your BBQ with the external BBQ fitting located under the awning.
Too hot outside? Relax inside on the long leather lounges in the air conditioning, or open the roof hatch to allow in a cool breeze and connect and play your favourite music through the all-in-one audio entertainment solution with Bluetooth, AM/FM radio and wireless connectivity or watch a show on the smart TV.
There is mood lighting throughout and downlights under the uniquely styled bed and some reading lights for when the bed is lowered, plus there are USB ports to plug into and charge your devices. With a wardrobe upfront so that you can hang your clothes for that special occasion.
The bathroom is fully self-contained with toilet, shower, and hand basin. Thanks to the on-demand water heater you can take a shower with endless hot water in the spacious two piece swing out bathroom, with room to dress privately away from your travelling companion.
The double bed conveniently drops from the ceiling at a touch of the button and can already be made ready for you to jump right in and get the shut eye that you desire at the end of your travelling day. Leave the large rear doors open whilst parked for the day, to allow the breeze to flow through the living area. The side windows in the lounge area have a day night shade built in for your day or night privacy.
