Autumn is one of the best times to travel in Australia. Warm days and cool nights – changing leaves makes all the deciduous trees look amazing. The mild temperatures mean it’s the perfect time for hiking and outdoor Aussie activities. By May, the Tropical North’s Wet Season is coming to an end, so the flood risk dies down and the Top End’s incredible attractions reopen to visitors.
There are many festivals around Australia to visit too. From music, fine dining, fermentation, cooking, rodeo’s and picnics making the most of the last longer days before we head into winter. So if you have some spare time why not even discover the local attractions within short weekend trips of where you live, if you can’t pack up and spend a week or two on the road.
