Avida, Australia’s leading motorhome manufacturer, celebrated excellence within its dealer network at the Avida 2023 Awards Night, held at the picturesque Glen Albyn Estate in Hobart, Tasmania. The event was made possible by the generous support of our platinum sponsor Wells Fargo, it was a night of recognition and appreciation for the dedication and hard work of Avida’s dealers and their contribution to the RV industry.

Acknowledgement Award
To commence the awards ceremony, thanks to Victron, Avida paid tribute to Alan Gath and Kate Kendall, former representatives of Avida with over 30 years of dedicated service and sales of Avida products in Tasmania. The couple retired last year with their very own Leura, leaving a remarkable legacy of service to the community. Alan and Kate received the Acknowledgement Award, a heartfelt thank you from the entire Avida team for their exceptional contributions.
Excellence Award – Parts and Accessories
The Excellence Award for Parts and Accessories was presented to Hinterland Motorhomes – Avida Gold Coast. NCE had the honour of presenting this award, recognizing the exceptional results in spare parts and the staff’s friendly, knowledgeable, and proactive approach in assisting customers with their needs for spare parts. Avida Gold Coast’s dedication to communication and order organisation was highlighted, making their spare parts team a true credit to the company.
Excellence Award – Aftersales
RV Centre WA – Avida South Perth was recognized for their outstanding Aftersales services. Redfoot presented the award, acknowledging the collective improvements in warranty and processes made by all Avida dealers. Avida South Perth stood out with an honourable mention for their dedication to assisting Avida customers, contributing to overall improvements in the aftersales area.
Excellence Award – Sales
The Excellence Award for Sales was awarded to Green RV – Avida Sunshine Coast. Iveco presented the award, emphasizing the challenges posed by the peak of COVID but applauding Avida Sunshine Coast for their remarkable increase in retail sales. The dealership achieved a remarkable 98% sales training completion rate, with anticipation for a bright future with new Avida staff recently joining the team.
Excellence Award – Training
Australian Motorhomes & Caravans – Avida Newcastle received the Excellence Award for Training, a recently introduced category. Fiat presented the award, highlighting Avida Newcastle’s outstanding commitment to the Avida Experience Academy online training system. With 17 staff members registered and a remarkable 95% overall completion rate across the board, they set a high standard for training excellence.
Dealer Staff Member of the Year
Casey Maybury, from Australian Motorhomes & Caravans – Avida Newcastle, was recognized as the Dealer Staff Member of the Year. Mercedes presented the award, underlining Casey’s exceptional contribution to the dealership, as acknowledged by customers and Avida staff. Casey’s 100% training completion rate further underscored her dedication, along with all the positive feedback from many Avida owners.
Customer Satisfaction Dealer of the Year
Wodonga Car World – Avida Albury Wodonga was named the Customer Satisfaction Dealer of the Year, presented by Thetford. The dealership earned this accolade with a flawless five-star rating on purchase surveys and ownership surveys, as well as an outpouring of unprompted testimonials from satisfied customers. With a high emphasis from Avida to providing a better customer experience, this achievement was acknowledged by everyone in attendance as a fantastic achievement.
Avida Dealer of the Year
The highly anticipated Avida Dealer of the Year award went to Clintons RV – Avida Sydney. Wells Fargo, the platinum sponsor, presented the award, recognizing their outstanding performance in all aspects of the business. With stellar stock and sales figures, exceptional customer satisfaction results, and consistently receiving positive feedback from customers, Avida Sydney was crowned the 2023 Avida Dealer of the Year. As one of Avida’s newest dealers, this was a great achievement and a testament to all the staff at Avida Sydney.
