For the first time in two years, Dealers were able to celebrate in person all their hard work and achievements and catch up on a year that was.  Whilst 2022 still posed a challenge for Avida and the caravan and camping industry in general, Avida now hope that these challenges will be able to be put behind them and will be able to start to reap the rewards of all the improvements that have been put in place.

We must start by thanking our valued sponsors who help to make these are great event for all Avida dealers, special thanks to our major sponsor Wells Fargo, and our Dealer of the year – Major Sponsors Fiat Professional, Iveco and Mercedes.

Accepting an annual Avida award is an extreme achievement for our Dealer network.  Avida Dealers work hard to deliver an exceptional and valued customer experience like no other, as Avida continues to strive towards being a World Class Company.

Some of our Dealers achieved great milestones within the Dealer network throughout Australia and New Zealand and were awarded as follows:

We would also like to acknowledge and say thanks, that after 20 years in business, Avida Hobart have decided to retire.  They have purchased an Avida and are setting off to circumnavigate Australia, just as their customers have done for many years.  We wish them all the best.

Congratulations to Avida Newcastle l Australian Motor Homes & Caravans who consistently achieved incredible results across their whole business in 2022 and took out the prized Avida Dealer of the Year Award 2022.  The team has been extremely hardworking during the recent two years making numerous improvements to the overall dealership with the entire team pitching in to beautify the space for customers enjoyment.  All team members are registered and up to date with the Avida Experience Academy training. Along with implementing various process improvements to streamline their business further.  The team as a whole, is a well-oiled machine that highly deserve this award.

Avida Excellence Award – Parts and Accessories

This award recognises a dealer for their commendable knowledge of Avida parts, great service provided by their team for spare parts to Avida customers and a great parts ordering process assisting in improving the customer experience.

Avida Excellence Award – Aftersales

This award recognises great service by the aftersales team at the dealership, nominations from the Avida team, and ultimately the management of customers, positive communication with Avida Customer Relations team, use of the Avida Warranty System, plus general consistency in their Aftersales operation.

Avida Excellence Award – Sales

This team member set a new Avida record, selling more Avida units in a year than ever before by an individual

This year the award goes to:  Avida Newcastle – Rob O’Brien

Avida Excellence Award – Dealer Team Member

This award is a unique award in that it is mostly selected by Avida customers, we consider the feedback from customers in their initial purchase satisfaction survey, plus the % of surveys this person is nominated for based on the number of surveys for that dealership.

This year the award goes to:   Avida Coffs Harbour – Mark Rooney

Customer Satisfaction Dealer of the Year

This award considers the service provided to Avida customers and looks at serval areas for customer satisfaction, and most importantly the customer satisfaction survey results and feedback from customers. It is exciting to announce this year it was very close between several dealers, but there can only be one winner, with a fantastic result of 4.9 out of a possible 5-star satisfaction.
